@rednorth Well, my parents were always fairly smart and responsible people. My mother wanted to have at least one more son/daughter, but they ended up not doing it. I consider 1-3 to be the ideal number of children for a couple.

@rednorth Just unload the bucket in the toilet and wash it. IMO faster, cleaner and easier than disposing of a bag full of puke.

@rednorth We have bills for $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 here. I'd argue a $500 bill would be useful, but the government won't issue one because that'd be admitting to inflation. Even though any important cash transaction requires you to carry dozens of bills otherwise, easily noticeable.

@rednorth Here we have 1c, 5c, 10c, 25c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins, and commemorative $2 and $5 coins (those last two are fairly old but technically still legal tender). 1c coins have been phased out due to inflation over the last 22-23 years though, as the increase in metal prices and decrease of the currency's value made them both kinda useless and a money sink for the state.

@rednorth I'm basically working on my own going to houses with a bag of tools whenever someone calls me because they have something broken, so yeah, quite familiar with the concept.
