@sebastian1314 I got some hate from the furries in attendance but I got really happy when people yelled out her (my) name and wanted hugs and stuff. It's kind of far off I think but so far there hasn't been any Brony con nearby Illinois.

@sebastian1314 the last convention I attended I was actually a little nervous about rocking my DJ PON-3 cosplay, I was even shaking! But then I pressed play on my Ipod, and before the sounds even started coming out of my chromey boombox I was reassured, not a person here was gonna mess with me.

@sebastian1314 yeah I don't think every younger pony is like that but it can be difficult, I can't officially say I'm like "a Buddhist" or anything but I try to put the 8 fold path into practice and utilize what I know about Buddhist practice into my own life, and violence is really not a big draw for me. I noticed awhile ago how heavily I rely on the threat of violence to get project an image of power, and really that's just false, I can't abide by it.

@sebastian1314 Really the only thing I can say is they were much younger ponies than me, and probably are way less disturbed by nonsensical violent acts. I honestly don't know, I find no pleasure in it

@sebastian1314 It's pretty gross, at the first and only meetup I've been to someone had the music video that kind of paralleled the story, and I just felt sick while most of the other people there were laughing about it. I felt super awkward then..
