@scrollhunter She was already canon. We took an animation error and turned it into a full blown background character! Just because we loose a single mention which NORMAL animators/show storyboarders wouldn't do isn't enough of a reason to bite the hand that feeds. I'm all for the #savederpy but sometimes it gets a little out of hand. You'd think WE owned the show.. not Hasbro..

@scrollhunter Canon or not, she's still Derpy. We created her, and we maintain her, with of without the show proper.

@scrollhunter Where's your proof that they changed her name? They didn't change it, they just removed a single reference to it. Derpy is still derpy, the animators have said that already.

@scrollhunter Best course of action is to either sign a petition, or email Hasbro and tell them that derpy isn't offensive and you love her as a character. Love and tolerate!
