@sonicdash Yeup.
-
@sonicdash Agreed.
-
@sonicdash What's it like working there? Unrelated: another friend of mine works at a Wonder Bread factory, and I can't get over that fact.
-
@sonicdash Ice cream scent? Well, there are worse things to come home from work smelling like. You'll just have to be careful not to let Pinkie Pie get too close. ;) Anyway, my evening is going well, but it's at an end, I'm afraid. It was a long day, and I need sleep. It was good to see you again, even if briefly. Stay well! :)
-
@sonicdash Yes, and it's turning out better than I thought but not as good as I hoped :/. Now I want ice cream, where do you work?
-
@sonicdash Hello, there! I hope that your evening is going well. :)
-
@sonicdash Pretty good aside from being horrified at my uneven sidewalks... how about you?
-
@sonicdash Aloha

@sonicdash what about me?
-
@sonicdash BUT YOUR NAME IS SONIC
-
@sonicdash Well, they do also have restaurants in Nevada, Utah and Arizona, too. Nothing north of Redding, sadly, despite rumours of expanding up into Oregon for years now. One day, perhaps. But, yes, I usually head back down that way once or twice a year, and I do try to stop by at least once. And, by the way, as for Five Guys, we do have a few up here, and the burgers are all right, but not great, and certainly not worth how much they charge for them, in my not-so-humble opinion. I think they're getting caught up in their own fame, if you know what I mean. I'd say the closest we have to In-N-Out up here is a chain called Burgerville. Prices are reasonable, and the burgers are really good. Anyway, as far as things working out for the best with me moving up here instead of back to California, I definitely have to agree with that. :)
-
@sonicdash I did, though up in the Bay Area, back during my college years. After, moved to the midwest, which turned into a fiasco after a few years. Tried to move back to California, but it got way more expensive while I was away, and no one was willing to hire me because I was seen as an out-of-stater trying to steal Californian jobs. After more years of trying, I moved to Oregon instead. I have to say, I like it here better, though there are some things I do miss about California, In-N-Out burgers being one of them.
-
@sonicdash Yay, good! Glad to hear that. That is one thing I do miss from the years I lived in California. I wish they would expand up here to Oregon, darnit!
-
@sonicdash Yay, good to hear that! And I am doing pretty well tonight, thanks! :) Were you able to do that In-n-Out run?
-
@sonicdash Hello, there! Having a good night?
-
@sonicdash It is good to have you here, /b/. Do you know anypony that can do some plumbing? I've got the electrical and dry-wall subbed-out, but the interwebs are a series of tubes.
-
@sonicdash Well, as one of the people to first coin the name "Octavia", I feel certain duty to set what it should be. Though even I haven't made my mind up yet on which it is. There's just such good points from both sides.
-
@sonicdash Yup. There's good indications from both sides to support it. But I'm just going to go with what I believe it to be myself, and everyone else can think whatever it is they feel they need to. :)
