  1. @starshine have you thought of building your own site

  2. @starshine I normally use Mustard or StatusNet Desktop, but I have to admit that the Public Timeline starting so far down the page strikes me as quite odd as well.

  4. @starshine I'm sure I could knock up a script or something, but I haven't. I also wanted you to know that someone had noticed!

  5. @starshine Now that's an interesting little "Sent from" tag. How'd you do that? Compile StatusNet Mobile yourself or something?

  6. @starshine Uhm, I'm not sure how I'd look this up. I can't think of any, but I think some heraldic crests did.

  7. @starshine I make exceptions for really cool clothes. Perhaps clothes that have glow-in-the-dark arc reactors??? http://ur1.ca/5060v

  11. @starshine Ours doesn't, which is surprising because by all accounts yours should have more pony than us.

  13. @starshine You linux people and your over-complication... I dunno about open-source, but there are certainly free methods to do just this via a lunatically simple drag-and-drop interface...

  14. @starshine Polarizing things lead to sadistic fanfiction. Sadistic fanfiction leads to Prison making fun of sadistic fanfiction. The circle of life continues.

  15. @starshine Don't talk about Cleveland that way! (...ok, I'll click the "in context" link before replying to things in the future)

  20. @starshine Dude, I did last night. Bought a 1.5 litre bottle of wine that was 13% alcohol for eight bucks. I was playing TF2, and had to yell at people to hold still so I could target them with my Medi-gun. You could think I was annoying, but an admin turned on allspeak so everyone could hear how retarded I was being. I made some new friends.

  23. @starshine true... it does bring up one of two sides. those who loved it and those who disliked it. i happen to be partial to it. I liked it. but somepony saying they hated it is a bit much. they could word it better and not sound so hateful to it. ex: "i didn't like it that much. just something about it didn't click with me" or something around that line. for somepony to start spouting off about it (without even reading it at that, which gives them almost no room to even talk of it) without needing too, it sends the wrong message(or first impression of this pony, in my case) to other ponies.

  25. Thank you, @starshine. Wow. I was just thinking of the MUSH at @scribus's place. See. I grew up in the MUD at the realmsofdespair.com and find @evilscribus's MUSH to be to MUD like Linux is to Windows, like TCL.tk is to Python and Perl and Ruby. #

  26. @starshine Possibly, but then I don't see why they wouldn't just rank the phones in terms of horsepower.

  28. @starshine I can probably figure out how to make an ISO to burn to CDs and DVDs of the files. Will FFMPEG help me make DVDs that work in regular DVD players?
