@loak I think it's entirely possible. One of the groups works as the "leader" and sets up the call with a designated person from each other group. As long as each group has only one person calling in, it'd be completely manageable, and all that'd really be needed is for the leader to get a post on Equestria Daily asking for meetup groups to contact them with a Skype name.

@eaglehooves Personally, I agree with you. As it is, there's no place for little one-off RP that doesn't involve any elaborate storyline and character buildup, plus you can't just hop onto the RP server and play as Pinkie Pie or whatever because all the mane cast roles are already "taken".

@rotation I mean like he casually dropped various things like "bi-winning" and "derp" into his lecture. I didn't get to talk to him directly since it was a full class (I think the planetarium holds around 180 or so?) but he had us all fill out a form asking some random questions, and at the end it said "tell me something interesting about yourself" so I wrote a bit about MLP there and pointed out that at least one of the writers is apparently an astronomy nerd.

@rotation Well, based on a few things he said when introducing himself today I don't think that's quite going to be the case. For one, he tracks attendance. His lecture slides were REALLY entertaining though, and also, he appears to lurk the internet a lot, so I doubt I'll be falling asleep or whatever.

@rotation Yes to both. I mostly wanted to see inside the planetarium, but I needed a science lab credit so I figured I'd take a class instead of just going there when they had a public show.
