@gargron @andstatus @moonman GS used to have its own #AtomPub #API that was supposed to be more featureful than the Twitter API. AFAIK, no clients ever used it. CC: @mmn

Nach einer nacht schlafen ist mir mal aufgefallen, dass es eine scheiß Idee ist, das GNU FM Plugin für !gnusocial als eigener Reiter zu machen ... Das ganze kann ich sehr viel einfacher über eine #API machen, die ich mit #JQuery anspreche. und mit .after() kann ich den Button platzieren, der sich Titel, ... von der GNU FM Installation holt

this is just a #client issue (all SN clients should also be usable for friendica since very similar #api). we need people (or better the devs) finally to make understand we need systems, protocol(s) which talk to each other (be it !ostatus, #zot or whatever) or the users will just go to the big silos, again

never used #choqok but their website says it's possible: "Supporting self hosted #StatusNet websites. (Using their Twitter compatible API)" I assume you must add somewhere in options the #API (e.g. would be http://oracle.skilledtests.com/url/5540 ) see an example: http://oracle.skilledtests.com/url/5541
