So I will aks you all: What's been a pice of nice source code you have read and would recommend it to others?
We should read more source code from other people that are actually a role model showing good skills, organisation and style.
So what would you recommend?

Amigos:
Tengo un problema, a ver si pueden ayudarme.
Estoy usando #GNU/Linux, más exactamente #Mint. Todo muy lindo pero no se cómo instalar programas externos, es decir que no se encuentran en el repositorio de archivos de la Distribución. Nadie me supo decir cómo hacerlo.
Los programas que quiero instalar son:
#Marble: https://marble.kde.org/
#YaCy: http://yacy.net/es/
#Code::Blocks: http://www.codeblocks.org/
Y también me gustaría instalar el #LibreOffice y el #MozillaFirefox “originales”, no los que vienen incorporados en la Distribución. No me gustan.
Espero que me ayuden. Saludos :-) -

"Once upon a time it was illegal to teach a #slave how to #read. The master class knew how #powerless a person is when they are illiterate. Today our world runs on silicon and bits, the written language of the day is #code and in this sea of information, anyone who remains illiterate does so by #choice." http://thewebmustdie.com (via @kas on twister)

here (1) is the #code of several SN clients. I guess they could be "trimmed down" (1) http://federation.skilledtests.com/Statusnet_clients.html#clients

it seems #FICS (Free Internet Chess Server) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Internet_Chess_Server "got #hacked again. www.freechess.org is just a message from the hacker." http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/140/chess-other-board-games/fics-hostile-takeover-1353292/index4.html -> message was: "Such a disgrace, taking #open-source software and turning it into closed source. Everything was taken, expect the FICS source #code to be released soon. L33t gr33tz to TheRaven and our Albanian brothers and sisters. #freepakistan Oh and murdock you chaostheory. ;)"

posting because I LOL'd (at last part) -> so, we were analyzing this bug and conclusion at end by @mk: "we really should #analyze this looking at the #code as well... I'd like to see a diagram of the dialog (and how it's supposed to happen)", "so we have ostatusgroup, salmon/group and main/push/hub" "that looks pretty #messy"

from README (changed 11 days ago) at bottom: "The #code is terribly #incomplete, #unreviewed + I pulled the design out of my backside without consulting anyone." but I like: #Pond = "Or, how to better organise a discreet relationship with the Director of the #CIA." :-)

Did you read already "The most dangerous #code in the world: validating #SSL certificates in non-browser software" http://oracle.skilledtests.com/url/6403 from #2012 where they demonstrate that SSL certificate validation is completely #broken in many #security-critical applications and libraries ? They said the root causes of those vulnerabilities are badly designed #APIs of SSL implementations (such as #JSSE, #OpenSSL, and #GnuTLS) and data-transport libraries (such as #cURL) because of their confusing array of #settings and options
