Agh, I need an image for !eveponies but I don't know where to come up with a decent EVE/MLP: FiM mixed image. If I had my computer and internet it'd be much better.

Alright !eveponies , I haven't told a story yet. This one is about my current ship, a Minmatar Interdictor called a Sabre. It's a fast, pumped up version of a destroyer, with a lot of small guns ideal for taking out frigates, and in the right situations, even cruisers and battlecruisers. Anyways, I took my Sabre (which I named Lightsabre, dohoho) out for a spin, intent on catching some people traveling around. The nice thing about interdictors is that you can drop a warp disruption probe, which prevents warping within 20km...a big range on most gates. So I headed to my favorite null-sec haunt and set up on a small gate, knowing my bubble would cover it. After waiting for about a half hour a frigate jumped through; it was a covert ops, but thankfully my lock speed was fast enough to get a lock before he cloaked. I dropped my bubble, activated my micro warp drive and jet at the thing at almost 1000m/s, guns blasting. Suffice to say, I got it in a pretty explosion. !eveponies

Also, !eveponies , Dust 514 has it's own site now. It's pretty bare, but that's a step forward. Hopefully it'll be out next year, at the latest. http://www.dust514.com/

So, !eveponies . Some awesome news: Incarna, the expansion that is set on letting you walk in stations, is set to be released on June 21st this summer! It'll start with your captain's quarters, with more stuff rolling out as the year goes on. It's what many of you !eveponies have been waiting for! I know I have...and it also takes us a step closer to DUST 514 (Which also has it's own site now, too). Here's the blog discussing the Captain's Quarters: http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=914&utm_source=newsletter61&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter61&sp_rid=MjgxNDkyNzYyMAS2&sp_mid=36652168

Time for a lesson, !eveponies . When you're taking a courier contract always take the safe route. I was a courier for a while, just trying some new stuff with my industrial ship (they're the basic cargo haulers), trying to make some change while I messed around. Ended up taking a contract with a high collateral amount, but decent pay and short distance...if I went through a few low security systems. Of course I decided to be stupid, figuring my cloaking module would save me. I jumped into the first low-sec system and there were a few pirates camping the gate. Feeling safe, I aligned to my gate and hit the cloaking module...unfortunately I didn't take into account the large signature of the industrial ship and they locked me instantly. Less than a minute later I was a few hundred million ISK (that's the currency) in the hole, down an industrial and somewhat annoyed. Lessons learned: Always take the safest route and cloaking doesn't equal safety. !eveponies

Alright !eveponies and other space-faring equines, time for another exciting EVE tale by me: CommunistPrime! This one happened just after I got my first battleship, a Gallente Megathron. Big ol' thing, slow and heavy but with some massive guns and pretty thick armor. So I'd just undocked and was enjoying how big I was compared to all the frigates and cruisers when a corp-mate asked for help. Apparently he was being chased by a battleship that he couldn't take down on his own, so a couple of us agreed to rendevous and take it down together. I made my way there...slowly...and eventually we all met up. Now I had fit this ship on my own, but it wasn't very good and it showed when we showed up and I was the first to become a pretty flash of light as my less-than-a-day-old battleship exploded. Lessons learned: Ask for help if you don't know how to fit your ship and experience makes a world of difference.

!eveponies I found this in my facebook archives! http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558655328201506735/1F9E5D9870F80E55E7171CD5CC38E956E3CC1C52/ Pardon the long link, but it's the ship I was flying before I left. It's a Minmatar interdictor, I had fun blowing up frigates and cruisers in that thing. It was faaast and had so many guns, I love it.

!eveponies I remember this one time, after I'd just gotten able to fly my stealth bomber. First one I ever flew, but it was a nice small and agile ship, plus it could not only cloak, but warp while cloaked - a major lifesaver! Anyways, I took it towards a system I heard had some miners in it, and lo and behold, the local channel was full of people. I took a guess on which asteroid belt they were at and guessed right; the miners were hitting some valuable ice in this null-sec system. I made it close enough to use my bombs, the prime specialty of stealth bombers (durr), decloaked and fired. Of course I didn't understand the way bombs work and ended up firing the bomb some random direction and hitting an asteroid to no effect. I cloaked back up as the miners warped off and evaded their escort. Was a learning experience, but eventually I got a miner in that system! !eveponies

Hmm...I wish I knew how to advertise !eveponies without blatantly saying for people to. Eh, I'll just tell EVE stories from time to time.
