@themightyglider I had to break out of this attitude by looking at #freesoftware as a "means" instead of an "ends". No matter how I approach it; if I interpret the movement as saying "don't use #nonfree software", I end up with no more freedom and much more judgmentalism. It just doesn't work for me that way!

i'd be interested in learning how to make #money with #FreeSoftware: http://roaming-initiative.com/mediagoblin/u/spaceman1/m/how-to-make-money-with-free-software/ if you also compile and install all deps. At that point you could use that for generating electricity. I really enjoy the #DIY approach of things. I'd be interested in learning the basic concepts of electronics; and create things out of a garbage bin than you can make an electricity generator out of recycled trash; so many people throwing valuable stuff out there. imagine if you have a router and you dress as you wish; what matters is refusing proprietary software at the end of the day; Cary on, on being awesome;

I like the gimp reference in the directory... uninstallation is easy... i will definitely build things from source more often. I agree the dependencies is a dumb...
