I think I am going to make a plugin for GS that gives privacy options to users AND admins, like in Mastodon, but:

Users can hide their profile all together from the public view, admin can disable the timeline on front page of qvitter, and a user can make different posts only viewable by certain people.

@effio EFF recommend Signal (some proprietary bits), and offer no specific replacements for Twitter and FB, eg #GNUSocial, #Hubzilla, #Kune
