@basil It'd hit a (non-fixable) bug in #MintRefresh, at the very least. There seems to be a certain notice length (longer than Bubbles, but shorter than 400000 - my money's on somewhere around 65536) where MintRefresh fails to insert the text of a fetched notice.

Interesting, !mintrefresh initially recognized the fully-qualified name as mine and highlighted the post, but after refreshing the page manually it no longer does.

@techdisk42 Eeyup. It's a Chrome bug rather than a !mintrefresh bug, as far as I know (in my testing, just modifying the <p> element was enough to cause it, and you can't really change the text without modifying the element it's in), but it's still fun to mess with. :)

@bitshift Oh. I totally don't even think I've gotten to that yet. I stopped reading around the time they zrrg erq-rlr va crefba sbe gur svefg gvzr, and have yet to open the file again due to lazy. xD And oooh, coding. I've been meaning to look at !MintRefresh's code and recode it from scratch but bluh.

@minti Huh. Did you know that !mintrefresh apparently disagrees with RDN about how old @greydragon412's most recent notices are (and probably others, but his profile is where I noticed it)? I mean, not the actual age, but the approximate description given to summarize it. You load the page, get "2 days ago", then ~30 seconds later, now they were only "a day ago". (I assume the difference is in choice of when to round up a day, but it's quite interesting to watch nonetheless.)

Also yay for memory leaks in chrome due to the way !MintRefresh handles image attachments. Stupid jQuery.

@nixter Oh, I see. It's rot13'd, so as not to reveal the spoilers contained within, unless someone reading it willingly deciphers it. Both of the major auto-refreshers for RDN have the little key button (at least I think it's a key in both; it certainly is in !mintrefresh) to decipher rot13'd text.
