  5. someone asked me: "So, in the end, do you prever # or #?" quote: "well, currently I need only SN. There are advantages to friendica which I don't need or pump.io. So, when friendica fixes the !ostatus (after releasing version 3.2) you can definitely also use friendica. There are e.g. more friendica # than for SN, back at identi.ca times: the commits in friendica were much much more frequent"

  6. WRONG! Matt Copperwaite: "And # extends that ( # ) by making use of it and also adding extra features to it as well. And that's essentialy what pump.io is designed to do, was to make better use of !ostatus"

  10. Direct/private messages won't reach with !ostatus users on other SNs but there's a way with # (1). But you asking me this means: there is a Sn bug, at least that the feedback msg didn't tell you that it won't reach me. (1) http://oracle.skilledtests.com/conversation/196101#notice-312175

  17. @mmn yes - and certainly single-user and probably invite-only should have it enabled as well. But countless peopel are stumbling over it NOT being enabled. I think a private in-house instance will be the exception - and then it's easy enough to disable it. #

  23. Thanks, you're a sweetBOTheart :-) well, lorea communication didn't work http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Statusnet_problems#Lorea.2C_Elgg and as @hellekin says: "as far as I know, there's no Lorea seed that runs # properly at this point. The # killed the #"
