had a lovely dinner at the kebab restaurant: tavuk shish (sorry, no turkish keyboard on my laptop), with home-made ayran to drink; a Turkish #tea on the house for dessert. #yum! !food

Just back - this part of Istanbul (or better: of Şişli) rivals Veliko Tarnovo in its up-and-down-ness, so I'm pretty tired now, not quite recovered from the last bus-train-bus trip. #tea sounds good :)

also: tap water in Istanbul seems the most chlorinated I've come across - making the #tea with bottled water here (for the first time this trip)

while making #tea I just had fun figuring out the washing machine with the help of the 'Talk Translate' app on my phone - it knew most of the turkish words I threw at it and could deduce some others by context #travel

Walked around for many hours already today still have some three more hours to kill before fetching my suitcases and getting a taxi to Gorna station... relaxing with a #tea now. #travel

@gamerchick02 yes, coffee is awesome too - the smell of freshly-brewed coffee still entices me - but then I think of the pain. It's not worth the pain. I have #tea integrated into my daily routine now :)

@x11r5 you are sooo wrong! #coffee gives me (and loads of other people who often do not even realize where their problem comes from) joint pains, but #tea does not. And green tea has extra properties that actually makes it healthy.
