well, a #private dent could be federated right now already via #xmpp to user B from A, a little complicated I know. What it needs is: 1. authorizing: B's xmpp account (1) must accept the SN's xmpp bot as friend 2. someone on the local SN must create a new user + associate (1) to there 3. then you can just in thenormal way send private dents to your local B account and the remote B gets them

then I think the answer is no. I saw so far only how SN delivers the dents via the table queue_item to #xmpp - if the delivery fails a "blob" stays (which can be retrieved, e.g. download)

I have a question: do you and @copyme receive in general dents in #xmpp? because I see this: it seems the implugin.php sends either to me or @mk only, e.g. this (1) is by question and you both are also sub'd to him, I think. But from log I see only (2). And in general I see none of you both in the sending from implugin.php.
