    I think my issue with Arkangel is that it doesn't cover any new ground - neither for television in general nor the show itself. It's a storyline that could be used (and HAS been used) in most every familial sitcom out there, but with a slightly updated concept, and a less gratifying ending. I'm definitely used to downer endings from this show, but this episode in particular didn't feel like it had anything new to say.
