Later she got her act together and passed the bar to be a lawyer and did that for many years before returning to her home town of Ponyville. She later decided to run for Mayor and won. She represents the city at various functions throughout her term. In addition to this, she as mayor runs all the city's business with the help of her staff. She also looks after sewer and water systems, road maintenance, garbage collection, subdividing, reconstruction, inspections, fire protection, and many other matters.
