@hoodie you have a nice profile pic

!pleroma FE hash routed build has been updated, it contains some fairly cool usability improvements such as:
-Having the side panel scroll independently from the main timeline (allows you to post new statuses and check notifs without being at the top of your timeline)
-Clicking the reply navigation arrows in an expanded conversation does not take you out of your timeline anymore, and they also scroll you to the highlighted post. (You can still click on 'X time ago' to open conversations separately.)
-Attachment previews are shown below the submit button to not scroll it out of view.
-New default pleroma dark/light themes added that are optimized for pleroma use, in order to make it easier to pick a theme that just works. -

My robot can now move forward in a very straight line. But it can't do the same thing while moving backwards. There should be absolutely no difference between the two, everything should be symmetric.
But it isn't.
MAGIC!!

@sydneyfalk @swervestray @Angle @starbreaker you also need to give people the tools to challenge problematic societal norms
-
@sydneyfalk @swervestray @Angle @starbreaker Without rationality, people may just accept what the majority thinks is appropriate

Shout out to all my fellows with unnaturally long, spider-like fingers. We are people too. Freaky, troubling people.

GNU Freedink's build process is reproducible now. I've beaten the original story, so I should try some D-Mods. !freegaming

@se7en we were talking about Taiwan
-
@se7en kind of a tangent, but isn't Bannon pro-Israel?
-
-
@8zu ohhh OK makes sense now.
-
@8zu so why was the 2016 election so important?
-
@8zu I'm not very familiar with Taiwanese politics. The DPP is anticommunist, right?
-
@8zu So what "branch" of communist are you? Maoist I guess?

>Juicero charges $400 for a machine that
presses juice from its proprietary juice bags and that requires a smartphone app. The problem? Users may be able to squeeze the bags for free using their own bare hands.- internetturtle and takeshitakenji repeated this.
-
@lambadalambda The solution: spikes on the bags to make them painful to squeeze.
