@arachnidsgrip What about Draft?
-
@arachnidsgrip Yeah, buying cards individually is expensive, but buying bulk and selling them is profitable. I need to check some local import restrictions to see if I'll have problems getting a 1500 cards box into the country. If I can get them past customs, then it's all good.
-
@arachnidsgrip I never got the opportunity to play it, and I'm not willing to buy a deck of card for something I don't know if I like. They're good as currency though. You can easily make some bucks from a deck or even assorted cards. Maybe when I manage to get a certain deal running I'll start playing until I manage to sell all cards.

@arachnidsgrip Conventions are fun when you go with a group of friends since they're basically big piles of conversation topics. Alone, they aren't worth the bus money. They're also a good place to do bussiness with certain things, like selling small merch, MtG/pokemon/yugioh/whatever cards and cosplay stuff. Now and then you can get something cool for cheap, like old comics.

@arachnidsgrip Thankfully there's none of those outside of conventions here. Outside of those places the most brony thing I've seen was this guy at a cinema who asked for a brofist when he saw I had a RD pin on my bag. Even in conventions I have the luck to be percieved by "trolls" as kind of scary, so they bother other people instead. In any case I never went past the casual pin and buying a magazine now and then. I'm not one to wear rainbows or weird headgear.

@arachnidsgrip Yes, that has kind of died down as the years went by. It is only fun when the joke's new and people don't expect it. Right now the reaction is just "oh cool" or "oh you're one of those" and nothing more.

@arachnidsgrip Dungeon Master?

@arachnidsgrip We'll find out. Get on the DM.

@arachnidsgrip There's some good new people. Most don't last, but some stay. I'll agree though that it seems in some cases lame how people react to the show like it was a novelty even though it's been on the air since 2010 and most people don't even consider bronies something revolutionary anymore. The pony thing makes up now only a small portion of the talk on this site, but the community somehow survived. More than one person doesn't watch the show anymore and yet they stick to this place due to the people that still posts. I think this community, even if the site itself dies, will outlast the fandom.

@arachnidsgrip Yeah, any help would be appreciated. I have aspirations.
-
@arachnidsgrip It is. It didn't really seem that it'd last that long. Back in 2011 I would have said that by now it'd already be pretty dead. But things were not like that, and here we are.
-
@arachnidsgrip Well that too. It's mostly genuine.
-
@arachnidsgrip You think I'm joking?
-
@arachnidsgrip It's relative, really. The glory days are most probably not coming back but that's closely tied to a change in the nature of the fandom over the years. The everypony's friend with everypony days are gone now that the whole thing has settled down, so activity has moved to less social networks. Still there's a portion of the fandom that looks for an actually social site and ends up here.
-
@arachnidsgrip Why don't you teach me a little something something?
-
@arachnidsgrip It's had it's up and downs but the "loyal" people is still here and new people join regularly. I personally still enjoy it.
