  5. Oh, the Rogue Nation of Delta Co... "Adults pretending to be teenage girls claim to have wholesome motives, religious education is a new government priority, glancing at the car radio display while driving is treated as attempted homicide, and court cases mostly involve lawyers shouting questions at witnesses giving silent shrugs."

  6. @mrmattimation These ones? No. But, when it comes to having connections, the ephemeral "I know a guy" moments that get jammed gears turning again, it can still become a high price to pay. I don't have The Answers, but I like to try considering all angles and long-term outcomes. It's why I spend so many decisive moments paralyzed! :D . . . wait, that actually sucks...

  7. @mrmattimation I do feel such a split over term limits. On the one hand, damn re-election, do your job! On the other, I'd hate to see the effects of the loss of the "elder statesperson." So, I usually feel like limits in certain, very key positions (DEFINITELY president!) are just about mandatory, but in others... I just don't know.

  18. @thismightbeauser This Savant? https://www.youtube.com/user/winterbatcave (OK that url might get filtered so https://tinyurl.com/l9g4r8l ) Not involved; it was a musical guest on "Sage and Savant." So, all safe on that vector! :)

  19. Damn, Sage and Savant dropped a musical act due to a difference of sociopolitical opinion. It's a decision I agree with, but still - it wasn't a thing I imagine anyone actually wanted. Not naming names, but they do share an initialism with Irritable Bowel Syndrome which just amuses the permanent child in me.
