@bronymike !vancouverbronies. Callister is pretty small, but nonetheless a specific location is worth specifying, I think a good option is the benches in the northeast corner (pictured) http://ur1.ca/4x5q7

@bronymike Ah, I think it's through the Inbox/Outbox tabs when you're mutually subscribed (or maybe it adds a new icon to the group at the end of the messages). Anyway.

@bronymike Stupid Enter key - yeah, no sweat on the PNE thing, I totally understand, just figured if I was going to ask one of them I'd make it on a day I can come for purely selfish reasons. =) I was thinking maybe we could do something in September sometime, like lunch or dinner somewhere not-too-expensive, or maybe meet in a park or other public space somewhere. Suggestions certainly welcome. I'm still hoping the PNE meet will run to dinner so I can swing by after work, though that does make it an all-day affair and who knows what people's energy levels will be like.
-
@bronymike Yeah, Jason lives in Vancouver too - I've got him on Twitter (goldenrusset).

@bronymike Hey, this is more an idea for a future meet than the currently-planned one - it'd probably better suit something less action-packed than the PNE (well, that and I can't make it to this one...) - but I was thinking of asking someone like Daniel Ingram or Jason Thiessen if they'd be interested in dropping in on a brony meet sometime. Any thoughts on that?
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies ok, so parking is actualy $20, and all the other info in my last post is correct. Ride passes are priced pretty astronomically at around $40 though :-[ There's also the option to buy coupons at $1.50 each, a rode takes 4-8 coupons though, and those only seem cost efficient if we only go on 2 (8 ticket) rides max :-[

@bronymike have a good trip!

@bronymike Oh fie! !vancouverbronies Parking fee is $10 according to the website, but there are some inconcistencies on the site, so i'l double check tomorrow. AFAIK, PNE access is also granted, but only access to the park,a dn not rides, we would have to purchase separate tickets/passes for those. I'l double check this one tomorrow too and see what kind of rates we might be looking at.

@cracky @bronymike i know the best places for the !vancouverbronies to meetup because i live closest to the pne i could go down and look, if u want?
-
@bronymike Thanks for the heads up, I sent you an email.
-
!vancouverbronies @bronymike There's a Triple-O in the amusement park. And there's Anton's (awesome pasta place with huge portions) 8 minutes away, but there's usually a lineup :\
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies haven't checked yet, as it turns out Tuesday is the only weekday I'm not around those parts and Monday was a holiday. Nonetheless, Google maps can give a rough idea: there's Hastings park to the south near the main entrance, and another park northward by the collosium entrance. If anyone has any further rough ideas post them to me or the group. I'll be looking around at noon tomorrow.
-
@flutterguy22 !vancouverbronies There's still a lot to discuss, but my impression would be to hang out and do rides/activities together. @Bronymike Do you think we could get some food afterwards as a group? Such as pizza or something. Would everypony else be interested in that as well?
-
@bronymike It looks good though!
-
@bronymike Heh, sorry that I never got around to making my version. I've had a busy summer.
-
@bronymike What's this? Awesome BC Brony flag? Yeah. http://ur1.ca/4tgyv
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies Yeah, crowds can be annoying, there are a few parks around the entrances where we could avoid the thick of the crowd, I travel right past the PNE nearly daily so I can scope out crowds and look for something more specific.
-
@bronymike was wondering what time the meet up would be if everyone was gonna go with the PNE plan?
-
!vancouverbronies I agree with @bronymike I think the PNE next month would be a good meetup. How many people so far are actually interested in going?
-
@bronymike still works, and sounds good for me.

@bronymike if you want
