!vancouverbronies A reminder of the plan (since some people seem confused about this): This is on Monday the 22nd, and entry to the PNE itself is free from 9-12 on that day. Between 9 and 11 we'll be meeting up at Callister Park (http://oat.nu/0oe7a). I'll be wearing my RBD shirt and my black hat with a rainbow dash pin on it, hopefully we'll be able to all find each other. We leave at 11 to enter the park for free. We check out exhibits and whatever the fair has, however people wanting to go on rides will have to buy their own separate passes. I probably will. At the initial meetup, some of us should exchange phone numbers just in case we get split up, and with an event such as this, I imagine we'll wind up being in a few sub-groups. For lunch and possibly dinner, there's a White Spot Triple-O's in the park as well as a bunch of food stands and stuff, so if you want this to be as cheap as possible, just bring yourself a snack and it shouldn't cost you a dime.

!vancouverbronies @cracky so, did you wind up checking out the parking/ticket/cash situation?
-
@cracky Thanks. Make sure to post the info on !vancouverbronies as well.
-
!vancouverbronies @cracky Thanks, Cracky, I think that park should work well for a meeting place. Do you know if access to the PNE also grants any access to Playland? Also, do you know if there's any charge for parking at the PNE?

!vancouverbronies Northwest Bronyfest is this coming weekend (Aug. 6-7) down in Portland, Oregon. Sorry if I never mentioned it in this group. I'm going and would be willing to drive down 1-3 more people. You may need to find your own lodging, though. People from Seattle are planning here: http://www.meetup.com/Bronies-SeaTac/events/20391381/ and may be able to help by offering hotel space and whatnot. More info from the Seattle people (including info on where/when everyone's meeting in Portland) is at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UaEr6sWJ2UUkAXmeY0zyateYMd2D52nzGdlWI7s9iqs/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1. It includes info for people carpooling in Washington but the rest of it still applies to all people interested. Email at bronymike@derpymail.com if you wanna catch a ride, just make sure you've got a passport.

!vancouverbronies @john We can probably get lunch as a group (or as several small groups) at the PNE, but if some people stick around long enough we can surely go somewhere and grab some dinner. Could depend on the size of the group, though, but maybe we could all hit up a restaurant. Again, though, I'm not sure what's in the immediate area since I'm down in White Rock. @cracky Have you checked the area for any good parks to meet up at yet? @silvermink Yeah, sorry that this won't work with everyone's schedule, but it's the only day the event's free and keeping the meetup cheap is probably a good idea, at least at this stage.
-
!Vancouverbronies @john @cracky I think a park would probably be the best option if there's anything nearby. A parking lot would be good, but I'm hoping to set aside a full hour for meeting up and I'd like to avoid loitering too much.

!vancouverbronies Hey guys, @Flutterbro made this flag up. My quick past of Dash onto the BC flag was one thing, but this is what I really wanted the group to have, the BC flag redone with imagery from the show (tiara and sun). I think he did a good job!

!vancouverbronies Just a warning, I imagine it'll be pretty busy. I live down in White Rock so I can't really survey the area to come up with a good meeting place, so if anyone has anything in mind post it up. Free entry is from 9-12 so I figure we start meeting up at 10 and then aim to enter at 11.
-
!vancouverbronies I'm still thinkin' the best plan is free entry to the PNE on Monday the 22nd.
-
!vancouverbronies SO! the PNE's free on Monday, August 22nd, from 9-12. Sound like a good time for a meetup? Also, anybrony know if that includes Playland or if there's discounted entry to that or something?

!vancouverbronies Logo's up! I think it turned out pretty good.
-
!vancouverbronies Excellent! It worked. I'm gonna make up a quick logo for our group, but if any artistically-driven bronies could help make a logo representing both bronydom and BC or Vancouver, it'd be much appreciated.

!vancouverbronies This is just a test to make sure I know how to send messages to the group.
