@jackzhang !vancouverbronies I think it's better to just send a birthday card or something. Unless any of us is actually friends with her in real life or she personally said it's okay, then it would be awkward getting free gift from complete strangers.

!vancouverbronies Hey all! I need some help. I'm trying to get a hold of a UBC Engineers Red Jacket (size small, with a custom name badge) to give as a gift to an Alumnus. Problem is I'm way over on the East Coast in the US. Any chance I can enlist one of you to do the footwork for me (I'll cover all expenses)? It's for Bronycon, but that still gives us a month and a half.

@tequilasunrise Not everyone has the chance to connect if they aren't within the same area. We have a higher chance in Vancouver, but still it's not guaranteed. You do have better chances if you work in the area, and this proved that right.
