@echron1000 !vancouverbronies Posting names to RDN is one thing, but it's probably a bit inefficient. I'm interested, but I've also opened a google doc here: http://oat.nu/zu6hv . Also, i'm going to look into more less "ad-hoc" ways of organizing meet-ups. Maybe a website?

!vancouverbronies Pegasiiiiiiii!!!!
-
@flutterguy22 !vancouverbronies 24. I think we have quite a wide age spread
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies ok, that is the type of specification I meant
-
!vancouverbronies do we want to narrow down 9-11 into something a bit more precise?
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies. Callister is pretty small, but nonetheless a specific location is worth specifying, I think a good option is the benches in the northeast corner (pictured) http://ur1.ca/4x5q7
-
@silvermink !vancouverbronies Check the dates at the top! the 22nd is during the fair, meaning the prices are from the first link. They go up to $40 on the 20th, and stay that way until the 9th of September :-[
-
@flutterguy22 !vancouverbronies Entrance is free, and I think with such a steep ride fee I think we might skip on those
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies ok, so parking is actualy $20, and all the other info in my last post is correct. Ride passes are priced pretty astronomically at around $40 though :-[ There's also the option to buy coupons at $1.50 each, a rode takes 4-8 coupons though, and those only seem cost efficient if we only go on 2 (8 ticket) rides max :-[
-
@bronymike Oh fie! !vancouverbronies Parking fee is $10 according to the website, but there are some inconcistencies on the site, so i'l double check tomorrow. AFAIK, PNE access is also granted, but only access to the park,a dn not rides, we would have to purchase separate tickets/passes for those. I'l double check this one tomorrow too and see what kind of rates we might be looking at.
-
!vancouverbronies Ok, from waht i've seen I think the best place to meet would be callister park http://oat.nu/0oe7a It has a cute little set of benches and is "off to the side" enough that we shouldn't get swamped with massive crowds and become unable to find each-other.It's also very close to the PNE parking lots (If you arrive early you *should* be able to find parking) and public transit isn't far off. It's right next to the collesium entrance and only a few minutes walk from the main entrance.

!vancouverbronies commencing.g reconnaissance! http://ur1.ca/4ugyx
-
@bronymike !vancouverbronies haven't checked yet, as it turns out Tuesday is the only weekday I'm not around those parts and Monday was a holiday. Nonetheless, Google maps can give a rough idea: there's Hastings park to the south near the main entrance, and another park northward by the collosium entrance. If anyone has any further rough ideas post them to me or the group. I'll be looking around at noon tomorrow.
-
@flutterguy22 you have to put !vancouverbronies before your post, or at least somewhere in your post, if you want to send it to the group (Otherwise nobody will ntoice it unless they happen to be looking at your posting history, lucky I was :P). As for what's going on in the group: there's the aug22 PNE meetup we are planning, but not much else.
