@deadmadness665 It's an indie freeware title that initially dropped for PC around 2004 and has since been re-released for several systems. It's sort of an action platformer hybrid that plays in a similar vein to games like Metroid and Castlevania but has a very involving story as well some gorgeous visuals/design and an incredibly inspired soundtrack. Really just a rare gaming experience that really lives up to everything the medium is capable of.

@deadmadness665 lol the problem is the instrumentation and boredom xD shadow of the colossus if i remember correctly is strings, synth and vocal heavy. and im pretty sure had a koto involved, whereas kingdom hearts had two significant styles. one was the very eastern hook and melody sound of japanese pops and the other is a very melodic and catchy BGM sound to it. The problem with creating this sort of thing is that again, with the instrumentation, though i would be using similar elements, it would not be interesting at all to listen to unfortunately, however, I do a lot of scoring etc, and i have made ones that sounded very similar to the shadow of the collossus OST

@deadmadness665 ugh, ive played my fair share of both haha. but usually people would just say improvise a waltz or something happy or spmething sad etc for me to do. im a composer :p so that makes mopre sense for me to do than to just learn a piece xD
