Genderqueerness is a sticky topic still. God, when is it NOT. I honestly have no idea how to address it, but I know it doesn't start on that forum. The concept of non-binary isn't settled enough in the social conscioussness to even register. It's enough to have brought it up. People need time to absorb it. Many of them will come to agree with us, but it's a long game. I don't think that protests will achieve the goal of dissolving the binary altogether. It requires more nuance than that.

Nopony's banning trans ponies at equestria forums. I'm the one who brought up creating a trans character in the first place, and there are just a million misunderstandings and miscommunications. Labels are banned, cis or queer. It verges into real world politics which isn't what the place is about. Some of the language used to discuss the issue has been sloppy, but I've talked to these guys more than anypony, and they're not saying what you think they're saying.
