@diciestryan I used to like it...until it got Mulitplayer-focused. I suck at multiplayer shooters so I prefer a good singleplayer ;)

@diciestryan I haven't played a single CoD game. CoD 1 had a short campaign back in the day so I instead went for Medal of Honor, and then I transitioned to the RPG genre and didn't pay much attention to multiplayer-aimed FPSs

These are shipments sent to retail, and may not reflect units sold to consumers." with that statement, it becomes highly possible, since many game shops buy big quantities of copies to have a stock.

@diciestryan At $60 a copy they need sell 16.7 million copies to reach the billion on gross income. There's roughly 7 billion humans in the world, and CoD has a solid fanbase. Taking into account all game stores that make great campaigns to sell games of the franchise, and add to that the possibility of online copies, which are becoming more popular each year, and the prospect of 16.7 million copies sold on launch day is actually reasonable. Then again they can also not reach the mark, that depends on marketing and luck.

@diciestryan My friend came to visit one day in May, 2013 and said, "@clayinthecarpet, I DARE you to watch the first two episodes of MLP:FiM. Just do it." and so we did. ...I loved it instantly. Then I watched ep 3 while he was here. After he left, I watched every single episode ever made within the next week or 2, then found all the pony music on YouTube. Then I found Pony.mov, then everything else. It became my whole life for a long time, including now. I draw so much inspiration from this fandom that I could see myself being obsessed with this for quite some time in the future. And that is my story.
