!qvitter is now available in #íslenska cc @hundur https://git.gnu.io/h2p/Qvitter/commit/035014b5313764248b95c019c8e642693e2cc61c
-
@lx @3mp0 @debian @nold @ekk it's a a little strange behavior with lists in gnu social. lists are a buggy/unfinished gnusocial feature
-
@hannes2peer ok. Btw, maybe that was the actual content of the page, at the time of preview creation. Either maintenance or it was a huge ad
-
@mcscx maybe their oembed data said hostingveloce at some point
-
-
@lnxw48a1 perhaps the cause is a bug in Quitter.se's code that creates article previews from URLs in a post. @strypey @natecull @hannes2peer
-
@hannes2peer Was the deleted post with the weird preview created by the same Masto account? @strypey @lnxw48a1
-
@mcscx can't tell now that i deleted the db records of hostingveloce...
-
yes @mcscx both spam links were appended to posts from @natecull I can vouch for the fact he's no spamme @hannes2peer @lnxw48a1

@pingspike some issue with your GS installation. see "attachment_error" here https://anonymous.wtf/api/statuses/show/195226.json

rebooting server... might see you on the other side.
- internetturtle repeated this.
-
@hannes2peer I'm having a lot of trouble with the URL shortener. It's been hanging a lot and I sometimes have to click 2 or more times.
-
@hannes2peer Bugs in #GS / #Qvitter? Have you tried putting subsystems (eg link shortener service) into their own containers to reduce load?
-
@strypey might be a hardware issue
-
@hannes2peer ok. One way to test that would be to put part of .se in a container on a different piece of hardware and see if that helps.
-
-
stuff are not going very well today. restarted quitim and now it's not even responding :)
-
Thanks for all the merge requests fixing stuff in !qvitter this past month. Sorry I haven't merged them until now.
-
@hannes2peer I'm just glad development is going so well again.

I generally use lots of (!dumpsterdiving) bananas which gives you creaminess. If I don't have a lot of them I also add some !vegan milk (oat/soy).
Also I often have berries from the woods in my freezer to add for (mostly) colouring purposes.-
@rw I only do meter clippings.

for the record: i never helped any fascists set up their instances. not even a little. i told them to go away. period.
-
quitter for me is one small part of a movement (?) toward a commons economy. the opposite to market-commodity-money-wages-growth society.
-
decentralized social media and open source software are tools, no more, no less. agpl for qvitter might have been a mistake. i don't know.
-
thank you for the attention.
-
-
@gargron i don't want to give them direct attention
-
@cathal I love undocumented features-by-accident. .)
-
@mmn @cathal what's wrong with this? https://quitter.se/attachment/3721001
-
@hannes2peer 1. It only works in !qvitter and not the vanilla interface
2. thus it also won't work for third party API clients (at least not unless they do whatever qvitter does manually).
I can see a point in a point having "home timeline feed hides replies to people I don't follow" or something, which would determine which posts go on the home timeline feed. Some could call it "Twitter behaviour mode".
