@fluttershy48 When it comes to drinking with diabetes... don't. It's pretty much that simple, alcohol lowers blood glucose and certain meds can amplify the effects of the alcohol and make you drunk faster.

@fluttershy48 Sometimes what I say is word of mouth, so I may not always have my facts 100% straight. I challenge you to prove me wrong. I will even admit I was wrong, though sometimes I get a bit embarrassed.

@fluttershy48 Diabetics can have black outs and stuff when Hyperglycemic, same kinda stuff that happens when "drunk." The opposite end is Hypoglycemic and it is when the body gets rid of sugar too quick.

@fluttershy48 It actually is a reaction because alcohol becomes pure sugar in the blood stream. It is a high from making your sugar go way to high.

@fluttershy48 Coffee is like beer, it doesn't taste all that great. The reason people are addicted is because of either the Alcohol or Caffeine. They are rather addictive.
