@lightningflicker if you fill out the negative stuff they just turn you away with out taking any
-
@lightningflicker That's nothing wrong at all to fear needles. It's just natural to feel anxiety over such things, a bit like heights.
-
@lightningflicker yeah, even if you "fill the negative credentials" theyre looking for, your blood would still be perfect unless you had the specific disease, which they would find in the after-tests
-
@lightningflicker but some things are just uncalled for, ALL blood gets screened for hiv/hepatitis etc after donation regardless of what you tick, so why should there be a problem with things like "gay blood"? It all gets checked the same
-
@lightningflicker "have you in the last 12 months paid money or drugs for sex?" "Have you been overseas in africa AND been sexualy active within the past twelve months?" "You must NEVER give blood if you have had oral or mangoes sex with another man within the last twelve months"...... Like I said...... WAYYYYY too personal
-
@lightningflicker it used to be the pain that bothered me until I reached my teens. It felt okay by the time we vaccinated for tubercolosis and it was necessary to take jabs before vacations.
-
@lightningflicker Yae :D *hughug*
-
@lightningflicker Hugs for you too :D #hugs
-
@purplephish20 @lightningflicker This was something I considered doing years ago, but finding the time to go to wherever the centre is held that week is the thing stopping me.
-
@lightningflicker @purplephish20 I'd give blood, but I never know where or when blood drives are taking place. :c
-
@lightningflicker @purplephish20 There's no greater feeling than knowing you may have saved someone's life, eh?
-
@lightningflicker eeyup, thats what I did!
-
@pinhooves @scribbs @trister @lightningflicker @yodelerty @hugs feeling better than earlier, thats physicaly not emotionaly, as i had over a pint of blood pumped out of me a few hours ago and I've been completely fluttered ever since... just clearing my head now. and holy crap that was a lot of responses to a simple "hello"
-
@lightningflicker Maybe I could join.
-
@lightningflicker Couldn't hurt, right? :D
-
@lightningflicker I don't know about Comedy Central, but they should at least up it to regular Nickelodeon. Here it plays on Treehouse, which is a channel designed for toddlers (kinda like Nick Jr., actually). They should at least put it on the same channel as Spongebob and the like.
-
@lightningflicker I'm not o:
-
@lightningflicker I'm from austria :D
-
@lightningflicker wassup ? I am right with assuming you are from germany?
-
@lightningflicker Ah, right I forgot you have a dub. Bleh. ;P
-
@lightningflicker oh hallo
-
@lightningflicker I'm sure they'll be able to accept my money eventually. Still, it doesn't make much sense that the second season hasn't aired here yet, or that there are no iTunes episodes out. The whole first season has aired several times, so I think they should be able to put at least those on iTunes. Ah, well. SOON. :D
-
@lightningflicker Yeah, I guess. I kinda feel bad for not being able to support the show, though. Still, there are tons of Americans who will do it for me. :D
-
@lightningflicker Well, I'll be happier when the episodes are on iTunes in other countries than the US. The show is produced here and the second season hasn't even aired yet. :c
