Can't find an english language news source for this, but it seems that #Microsoft Defender is flagging files that contain short strings (like "Squeamish Ossifrage" or "malicious_x = %p") from the #Spectre PoC as malware: https://m.heise.de/security/meldung/Microsoft-stuft-das-PoC-Programm-zu-Spectre-als-boesartig-ein-3959995.html
This is obviously useless for actual threat detection, so are they trying to find people who are playing with the PoC code?

It would be a good idea for #FOSDEM to re-evaluate their association with Google. What do Google stand for? How much of their software is actually open source these days? Is Google just openwashing at these types of conferences by promoting closed stuff and opaque algorithms behind APIs?

@hughenknubbel GNUsocial hat eine Option um nach Twitter zu crossposten. Ist aber glaub ich auf Quit.im nicht aktiviert.

@hughenknubbel man kann den Quit.im-Accounts vom ganzen Fediverse aus folgen. Normale GnuSocial-Apps funktionieren.

Maybe you didn't know this but my parents lived during the Fascism in Spain. Franco's dictatorship ended in 1975.
That's few years ago.My grandparents lived during the Civil War.
My grandfather lost his home because of a bombing.Now, let me tell you something:
I don't want the fascism word to disappear, I don't want people to forget what happened.Memory is great thing, it helps to avoid the errors of the past.
Don't censor what happened as it can hurt someone. Remember, respect and honor.
