@awlderpy i'd say thats what the Dodge had, considering it was a factory system and all (according to the previous owners son, and i am the second owner)
-
@awlderpy not sure what the gasses are, but yeah it might be that, still pretty expensive
-
@vt3c best way is to offer low and in cash, slowly build up to what you consider your limit of what you would pay, remember allot of people will actually come down if they want to sell
-
@awlderpy it has to be switched to a different gas, but whats left can't be released, if that makes sense, so i guess partly new system
-
@awlderpy could be, i know its $1500+ to get old aircon systems re-gassed here now, and we do have some very crazy and strict enviro laws here
-
@awlderpy oh, imports have aircon as standard, but not Aus built like Holden or Ford
-
@awlderpy interesting, power steering and safety stuff is standard here, and power windows are standard here but not Air con
-
@awlderpy still bigger than the ones here, and you get all the options as standard, aircon is still an option here in many models
-
@awlderpy and why it breaks my heart that they are so hard to get here
-
@awlderpy yeah, just another reason i love the bigger American cars
-
g'night @mushi
-
@awlderpy yeah :(, i may not be the tallest person but in those small cars i feel cramped
-
@awlderpy all good, i try to go with whatever is understood better, to avoid the lost in translation thing
-
@awlderpy yeah, sadly here people are too easy to push around so the car companies can and do force them onto smaller and smaller cars
-
@awlderpy cabover, meh, i prefer traditional, and yeah the big old Semi-trailer trucks (to which we call them Trucks here lol)
-
@awlderpy nope, similar to us minus the 5cyl option, made an OK work vehicle though
-
@awlderpy CAT is the way to go, but thats for 18wheelers, don't see many cummins or duramax Diesels here, most are japanese manufactured
-
@awlderpy i had a 2003 Rodeo LT (top range model) which i actually traded for my 1996 VS SLR 5000
-
@awlderpy i wanted the Diesel, cos, well they sounded cool, but yeah, closest we have is the Colorado , which used to be known as the Rodeo, and its 4cyl Diesel, 4 Cyl Petrol and 6 cyl Petrol
-
@awlderpy also remember we charge more for Diesel than we do for Unleaded, and yeah no specific dealers just special importers
-
@awlderpy well they have to be imported specially as no GM offers them here
-
@coffeecream It is, only problem is they are close enough to throw back
-
@awlderpy well we can, but the price is very restrictive, as i said anywhere from $100k to over $150k
-
@vt3c the Dodge is getting a heart transplant, 360 that puts out over 500HP is going in
-
@awlderpy you guys have some great cars we can't get here, i wanted a Chev Silverado, but they cost $150k here
-
@vt3c Someone ran into the back of the '66 Dodge, but hardly a scatch on it, his car was totaled however
-
@awlderpy yeah me too
-
@coffeecream nice to meet you too, i'm North East, and so close to the border of NSW that i can throw sticks at the welshies
-
@foxgopher got a great friend whos a Kiwi
