You spent two years blocking everyone
Now the EU blocks you
It is extremely funny, gargron.- maiyannah repeated this.

@leyonhjelm @p I'm enjoying it now that I'm 25
-
@leyonhjelm Isn't the FAL 2.62x51? or are there rechambered .308 variants?

@dirb You aren't my Mom. Fabio only takes advice from his mom.

@sim @camedei456 Well, forgive me for being more interested in preventing more people from getting broken over breaking them for the goal of helping those that might not even be fully fixed regardless of sacrifice.
You could always segregate schools by race if you wanted differential treatment, but few governments will allow that. -
@camedei456 "that was liberal in the sense that it was to be based on the rule of law and respect for countries’ sovereignty and territorial integrity."
Then two paragraphs down "how dare countries want sovereignity, fascists!" -
@saga @p It takes about 4-5 days for my hair to get greasy so it's not an issue for me. The only annoyance is tangling.

@djabadu I wish that was the case. Cold christmas would be great.

@p I don't like buzzcuts. They make people look like either boots, anarchists, or criminals.
My glorious flowing golden hair is worth the upkeep. -

One of the worst parts of summer is my hair tangling a lot as I sleep.

Penguins are on the south pole, stupid
-
@nerthos who is that
-
@moonman Nestor Kirchner, ex-president and arch-thief, nicknamed "the penguin"
-
@moonman Think of a less retarded Chavez, who designed a system to keep stealing in perpetuity (that failed because he died and his idiotic megalomaniac wife got the reigns of the operation) instead of causing a commie meltdown of the economy.

Time to stop relaxing and start getting stuff ready for the holidays.
-
@augustus If it was the thames, is there any point in fishing him out?
-
@z If the original owners can demonstrate they owned a plot of land, they're entitled to economic compensation for the value of the land they owned. It is not fair however to displace someone who rightfully bought a plot of land several generations after any conquest was made.
Which land rightfully belongs to natives and which was lost by their mistakes is also a case-by-case basis. There are tribes that got their lands stolen without provocation, there are others that started wars and lost them and with it their lands. Most cases are a combination of both. -
@sim @camedei456 It doesn't matter if the fault lies with the kid, but kids who haven't had a hand in it should be kept safe from consequences of the situation as a priority.
Children do know right from wrong. Don't ever think otherwise. If they don't, they're retarded. As early as a year old kids start getting an idea of what's ok to do and what isn't. -
@z I'm advocating for "don't harm others or their property or you lose your own right to that which you harmed" (you kill without provocation you get hanged/thrown in jail forever; you steal you lose your right to enough property to compensate the victim or all of it if you can't cover it, etc), I think that's fairly universal, the rest is up to the community (stuff like what's proper social protocol). It's also why it's important that people stick to their own cultures unless they're fully willing to drop theirs in favour of that of the place they moved to.

@leviticus RIP
- nerthos repeated this.

@lain Part of it is movies being good, part of it is most batcavety movies of the era being kind of forgotten so the ones that are still watched are a selection of the best.
-
@z I'm not completely libertarian, but things like individual rights and justice must be considered self-evident, otherwise there's no point to them at all.
-
@dwmatiz I can't read polish

@mitsu But I have reach https://cherryposter.club/url/2835702

@z Corporations have no true rights. They might have property based on contracts but that's it. Any more than that is an abuse, regardless of what laws say, and I stand against it as much as I stand against states claiming otherwise. A state is after all a publically owned corporation.
-
@z The future will be very dark if people start truly thinking that states have rights over people and their properties.
Rights are something that only sentient beings can have. -
@sim @camedei456 That is their issue, not that of anyone else, and other kids shouldn't have to put up with it.
-
@z The state is as allowed to confiscate property as any criminal. Does it have the strength to do so? often yes. Does it have the right to? no.
