When I see what people are listening to, it bugs me. Some people turn on the radio, and stop there. I dig some mainstream acts, The Foo Fighters, The Cardigans, Everclear, and a few others, so it's not that. It's the notion of people sheltering themselves from music that's not on the radio, or music from other regions that never breaks through in North America. It's so boring to walk the path that everyone else has. Turning on the radio is akin to taking a stroll in the mall. It's not interesting. Branch off from that path, and go hiking, find the less traveled trails, they're more interesting. Hipsters have ruined this argument, and fashion, and subsequently street photography. When you go out to do some street photography, everyone is dressed in some gaudy way that makes them dreadful to look at. Even if you dress well people still think 'hipster', they've ruined fashion, and given 99% of the music out there a bad rep. Only about 1% of bands get their music heard by a wide audience.

@ponydude2143 That's why when you do a podcast you have each person start recording their dialogue separately, someone collects it all, then they edit it together. This will let you edit things more cleanly, get better quality, and compress things more easily.

@thatonepony I have a suave voice and the cost of my preamp and microphone I use for dialogue was about $800. I sound fine.

Today, I went to Toys R Us, went pony hunting, looking for wave four, didn't find any. I did however, see a little girl, about four, excitedly grab a Fluttershy, show her dad, who asked 'Is that what you want?'. Her response was to exclaim 'Yeah!'. Seeing her get really excited about her new Fluttershy made me happy. In a way, it makes me envious. too. Her unbridled enthusiasm, able to grab a pony, show your parents, brimming with excitement about your new toy, and it's okay, acceptable. I imagine her with her friends, handing off each others ponies, brushing their manes, talking about the show, all with the enthusiasm of young girls. I'd like to be in her position. #genderpersonalityissues

Burnt a roll of film in my new Yashica Electro 35 GSN, the lens is super sharp. Used some Kodak Ektar 100, really dig the colours. Very fine grain, too. This is how the shots look without any post. Just the negative scan straight from the camera. http://ur1.ca/5f1xo

I don't like birthdays. I don't like loud noises, and people making a fuss. And I especially don't like people celebrating because they know a piece of private information about me. Plus the whole thing is a scam. Birthdays were invented by Hallmark to sell cards.
