@schicksal Papa pony almost died in prison one very cold winter when he was placed in a cell where the outside air came in and hit him. Even despite his layers of clothing and blankets he had gotten very sick.. Once Papa pony was shanked by another prisoner, and many times he got into fights because of the crime he'd been accused of

@schicksal Meanwhile Pony's father had been alone and abused in prison. He deeply regretted that he couldn't be there for his son's wedding, and he was truly bitter about the testimony his ex-wife (not Pony's mother, but another mare) had given in court. He knew his incarceration was wrong and he resisted authority often which put him in isolation often
-
@schicksal Being Mormon herself, Mrs. Pony had been shocked by Pony's family and even Pony himself sometimes while they were dating, but she loved him and his family, especially her new mother-in-law.

@schicksal OK! picture time btw http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/75/Washington_DC_Temple.JPG
-
@schicksal okey doke.. Things get much better with my dad by the way
-
@schicksal Their engagement lasted for about a year and the two were happily married in the beautiful Washington D.C. temple.
-
@schicksal until he caught her*
-
@schicksal Life went on as it always does, and, after knowing Mrs. Pony-to-be for a year, she began to show interest in Pony. Ms. Pony chased him until her caught her.. so-to-speak, and after dating for 2 short months the two got engaged
-
@schicksal He felt it was important to be realistic and open with his father.. Pony crushed his father's heart by telling him he couldn't trust him.. Later on Pony's filly-friend told him that she'd been fooled with by her brother as a little filly, so this made it even more difficult to repair the bridge between Pony and his father..
-
@schicksal So Pony served 2 of the happiest years of his life! He had had to sacrifice a lot. He and his family had paid for his travel and living expenses and he wasn't allowed by mission rules to telephone home, only write. He missed his family and the extended family he'd grown close to in Maryland a lot.
-
@schicksal It had helped that Pony studied French for 7 years. With zeal and committed fervor, Pony learned the Italian language and became fluent in about 4 months (including 2 months of training in the U.S.)
-
@schicksal Pony's conversion had effected him deeply and he wanted to share how he felt about it with other ponies like the missionaries had with him. Sometimes Pony was ignorant and made the mistakes all the overzealous make.. like arguing with momma pony about her relationships..
-
@schicksal Pony was happy and, while he missed his old home he eventually grew to love his new home even more. Over the course of his adolescence Pony tried to prepare himself to serve a mission for his church..
-
@schicksal :) Pony got to meet lots of new kinds of ponies from all over the world at school. Back in Utah there had only been white Mormon fillies and colts for the most part.. Pony made very good friends with a group of nerdy outcasts kind of like himself
-
@schicksal But Maryland had fireflies and lots of green trees, and Pony liked the smell of the humid air, although it made his allergies act up more often.
-
@schicksal (got it ;)) One of the things Pony missed most about Utah was the wide open blue skies and the beautiful white snow. He missed seeing the mountains surrounding the valley where he'd lived and he missed the karate dojo he'd had to leave behind.
-
@schicksal So Pony slowly but eventually made new friends and sometimes called his old friends to talk, and Pony loved catching fireflies during the summer. There were no fireflies back in Utah.
-
@schicksal hmm.. I'm trying to keep it at a 3rd grade level.. maybe I'm leaving out too much? or maybe my wording is just off.. I'll see what I can do. Feel free to make specific suggestions
-
@schicksal as in no pony terms?
-
@schicksal I'd be happy to clarify.. ask me questions if you have any please
-
@schicksal it wasn't papa pony who wanted custody, it was momma pony's filly friend.. and because momma pony didn't trust her ex filly friend, and because the judge had ruled in the filly friend's favor, momma pony decided to move away so that she couldn't visit with him so often
-
@schicksal Pony loved his father and Pony knew his father loved him, but it wasn't often they saw each other.. maybe a couple times a year.. When momma pony suddenly got into a custody battle over Pony's younger brother.. they had to move away and Pony didn't get to see papa pony at all
-
@schicksal ;) happy to oblige it's fun so far
-
@schicksal It wasn't until Pony was almost 11 that he decided to become Mormon with his mothers support
-
@schicksal Sometimes Pony's grandma took him to church, but usually momma pony took him to her Buddhist SGA meetings. Pony learned to love Buddhism
-
@schicksal Even though the community where Pony grew up was very conservative and predominantly christian, his momma was pretty liberal and enjoyed living with filly friends, fillyfooling and the like..
-
@schicksal lol.. well.. I'm having a hard time putting it in terms of a story
-
@schicksal Pony had an extremely interesting and bizarre family, but they loved him very much. He grew up living in many different places in the Salt Lake City area in Utah...
-
@schicksal once there was a pony named Pony..
