I am a brony who has had his ups and downs in life, but is currently getting back to the ups. I am a wanna-be novelist and I enjoy, in addition to ponies, Broadway musicals (particularly anything written by Sondheim), many manga/anime, comic books, Pokemon, Halo, stand-up comedy, movies, and awesome, obscure card/board games. I watched the first episode of MLP back in February, convinced that I would hate it and make fun of my friend for liking it. Soon after I was finished, I bought the $45 season pass on iTunes. Single best purchase ever.
Pinkie Pie is the best pony.

Tornado just ripped through hometown. Was without power for about three days. My workplace is still not reopened, and I will be behind on a week's worth of work when it IS reopened. But the worst thing? No tree branches crashed through my window, and I was unable to act out Look Before You Sleep with my Twilight Sparkle, Rarity and Applejack toys. That would have been SO AWESOME. Oh, besides the damage done to my home, I suppose.

@madflavors Agree with you on the goggles. And yes, Spitfire is just one of many characters who needs more fanfics. Not that I don't mind some of the background ponies, but when a canon character gets upstaged by a random BG character with no name or lines, it's kinda sad (unless it's Derpy).

Finally going back to school, and moving out of my parents' house. Funny. Ponies have caused me to do the exact OPPOSITE of what the world at large thinks bronies are like.

@ahipsterpony There are a couple of libraries that have done it. I think I was the third or fourth. But yeah, there is a picture at EQdaily.

@ahipsterpony Then the ones in Northern IL do a fine job of hiding. I got a poster of Twilight Sparkle up at the library where I work, and not once has a person seemed to notice it. Was kinda hoping to find some bronies that way.

@ahipsterpony New to FiM? Nope. Been a brony for a bit. Just decided to finally get an account here now that I see there's a Chicago Bronies group. There are dreadfully few bronies near where I live.
