A lot of what I do is rooted in rules established by R&S even, and I’VE never offended ANYONE sexually, that I know of.

Ren & Stimpy gave us more than just gross-out humor and off-model animation, and as an artist I’m frankly astounded that we’re shutting down everything that looks like it now.

I’m not one of those guys who’s like “support the art not the artist” (even though we absolutely do that all the time, The Loud House was created by a convicted sex offender and it’s Nickelodeon’s biggest show) but making John K’s artistic philosophy into a political issue risks severely downplaying the fact that the guy is a pedophile. We’re not arguing about the fact that he’s a pedophile anymore, we are now arguing that we shouldn’t emulate anything about the way he treated art BECAUSE he was a pedophile. It’s not about his crimes anymore, and he’s literally still trying to commit them because he got away with it the first time.
