  2. @hoit21 yeah, I wasn't looking for advice anyway, just venting.

  3. @hoit21 next update will introduce "endermen" Slender, black, humanoid mobs that ignore you until you look at them. When you look at them they state back. When you look away, they move very fast to attack you. They can teleport If needed.

  4. @hoit21 I don't want to try my luck here... All that means is they won't say anything to my face.

  5. @hoit21 blink and you're dead... Just like that new mob in minecraft

  6. @hoit21 well some of these elders are family, making it feel that much worse.

  7. @hoit21 well, duh. That's what I've ben doing all along. What has me going is the people who are saying some genuinely hateful things aren't just dumb teenagers and college students, they are parents and functioning adults. Of all the people I would expect this behavior from, they would be the last.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 07:11:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  8. @redenchilada and how did that turn out for the persecuted? I The people being wrong kind of makes it feel worse.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 07:03:26 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  9. @hoit21 see I don't have the luxury of not caring about what others think of me. The only reason I have any real friends at all is because I maintain a certain reputation around them. I know that makes them crappy friends but it's still better than having none at all. I really did try to just be myself to get friends, but I guess on my own people seem to see me as that guy they kind of know but wouldn't care to know better.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 07:00:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  10. @redenchilada it's not them that get to me. It's the fact that culturally, their condemning attitude is considered the proper response. These aren't 4chan trolls, these are normal adults with jobs and families.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 06:51:07 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  11. @hoit21 the thing that bugs me Is how the people in question will ignore everything that makes me seem normal. It doesn't matter if I were a doctor or lawyer or played sports or had what would be considered a successful life. If I have one thing considered "deviant" to them, that is all they see.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 06:47:06 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  12. @redenchilada well, I say trolls but really I was just overhearing something said by someone who assumed there were no bronies around to hear. That wasn't trolling, that was his honest opinion.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 06:42:17 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  13. @abigpony well I mean, the reason trolls have such a knee-jerk reaction is because their culture expects them to. The same culture me and all of my peers were raised in.

Monday, 01-Aug-11 06:39:20 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  14. @hoit21 well that's just it. Sometimes it feels like i'm only acceptable amongst people who share one of my interests. It makes me feel like some sort pf deviant

Monday, 01-Aug-11 06:37:00 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  15. Why are trolls suddenly affecting me? They never usually affect me. But right now I just feel kind of sad that some people would actually hate me...

  16. @greydragon412 can't ponies not properly digest meat?

Tuesday, 26-Jul-11 22:32:08 UTC from web in context
  17. @greydragon412 huh... if I was her I'd start a lot of brush and forest fires to suck up as much oxygen as possible and have domed cities built as the only places in equestria with breathable air. Someone acts up, toss them into the wilderness to suffocate. whole city uprises? blow a bunch of holes in the dome and suffocate the entire city.

  18. @greydragon412 so downgraded to political genocide, gotcha.

  20. @greydragon412 okay not gonna read that whole thing at the moment, so I'm gonna guess that you mean she controlled some form of hydroponics and only provided sustenance to those supporting her?

  21. @adrianbrony that is why it bugs me when people act like celestia was overreacting when she exiled her sister,

  22. so I did some crunching. If Nightmare Moon had gotten her way and made eternal night, the crops would not grow next season because of no light. Apparently, most of equestria survives on sustinence farming, gorwing enough to comfortably live on, but not much to export. In winter wrap up, it's revealed that by the end of 3 months, their saved up crops begin to run out. If eternal night were to kill off all the plants including food, then most places would probably have completely starved off before the next season, with only the rich elite being able to hold off for more than a couple of years. Thus, NMM was attempting a holomodor style genocide.

  23. @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese while jaywalking is a misdemeanor, because she ordered her children to do it, that made it a felony charge of child endangerment. because one died as a result of the jaywalking, that made her legally guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

  24. @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese Even worse is everyone is claiming the driver got of the hook. No, he didn't. He is in prison right now.

  25. Lady directs her 4 children to jaywalk across a 5 lane highway. one of the kids gets hit and dies. the driver was intoxicated, but he is already serving his time for it. Lady is charged with reckless child endangerment and involuntary manslaughter. Current petition circulating that has nearly 65 thousand signatures demanding her pardon, claiming that she did nothing wrong. Meanwhile, everyone is raging over Casey Anthony's acquittal even though a large chunk of the evidence was fabricated and some of the non-fabricated evidence was tampered with to make her look guilty. It's like people don't even understand how the judicial system works anymore.

  26. @roygbiv eh, it seems the actual columnist was rational enough to realize that the problem wasn't the ponies, basically saying "hey, why should girls hog all the femininity?"(paraphrasing there)

  27. @roygbiv I'm okay with this.

  28. @roygbiv I still think Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" is a better all around anthem. but then again it is also about pretty much anything people look down on for no reason.
