@sparkyvelt if I recall that's just when production is gonna end for the entire season. they could start the season a couple months before the last episodes are completed. I think they did that with season one

@nightwillow all I know is along they way they somehow lost all the rights to the G1 characters except for applejack. Faust said that's why FiM didn't use the G1 cast.

@sparkyvelt hasbro doesn't have the rights to her anymore. the only G1 character they own is applejack... and spike.

@starshine yeah I don't think they actually showed any holidays that are analogous to any holidays we have. probably to avoid excluding people.

@crimsonvalor that and at this point, failure isn't so much as dusting myself off, bandaging some scrapes, and trying again as it is get to a hospital with a deep gash or broken limb.

@crimsonvalor it's too late now. I lack the range of motion to make a full pedal. plus it's not the skill I envy, it's the perseverance required to acquire that skill.

@crimsonvalor oh, suuure, they get to go around town all day with their friends at just fine speeds while I'm still riding with training wheels, never willing to take that extra step and risk failure until I outgrow them and they are unable to support my weight, leaving me unable to ride any bike at all even after I honestly try but realize it's too little to late... oops got a wee bit of a tangent...

anyone else get that thing where after they see someone do something to improve themselves and they become happier in general as a result, but instead of being inspired all you do is develop a deep resentment because they remind you that you lack the personal strength to follow through with anything, and in the end you have a burning desire to discourage them until they give up? Or is that just me?
