@eaglehooves weird. i know for a while i was getting ads for the uk because somehow the language settings in Chrome were set to British English. of course, I figured it out when it was telling me "favorite" was spelled incorrectly

I have a love/hate relationship with sad endings in games. I love them because it makes me feel good, after I'm done being sad. I hate them because the character you've played as the whole time (usually) is the one who dies and you lose all that background you built on them, feeling all connected to their story. Maybe I'm to empathic. !vgp

@pinhooves It's been SO LONG since I played MW1, I barely remember the majority of what plot there was. @duskdweller Yeah, I was hoping I could find a way to escape on the last mission...ugh.

@cabal Every time it's brought up I feel like poo...the artist hasn't responded to the past few messages I sent. I'd ask a new artist to start it up, but I'd end up having to pay them a lot (this was a lot of ponies) to get it done.

Can someone please explain moshing to me? I just don’t understand it! you go there for the music, why would you start a fight and just run around? of course, this is coming from a Dream Theater fan, and we are notorious for looking ‘bored’ at concerts. I just i don’t get it

@abigpony I respectfully disagree with your take on metal shows. I've only seen two people who were intentionally attacking others, and on both occasions the crowd turned against them and things went back to normal. But, that's just from what I've seen.

@abigpony Huh. I've had people call it a "controlled riot," and others give a similar "beat someone up" sentiment, but they always keep a "control" element in it. More like sparring than fighting. But, again, different locales, different times.

@abigpony Yeah. Sadly, I do have to admit it has been harder to find the good mosh pits. Mostly, as far as I've found, it's been replaced with hardcore dancing. Which I don't have a problem with, I just wish it was doing its own thing instead of taking away mine!

@traptin85 I will be in omaha on sunday, not sure yet on what conditions. Only thing stopping me so far would be the weather and if my car electronics are cutting out again. Both those issues should be resolved tomorrow.

@dmtactical !nebronies that's a good point. all meetups are canceled if the weather is bad. I will do everything in my power to alert you. I do not want anyone driving in dangerous conditions.
