!bcbronies Just a reminder to everyone, I believe that since this is less than a week away, we are now locked into our 60-person-capacity room with the finale meetup plan outlined at http://mlpf.im/BcFinale. Now we've just got during-the-con meetups to plan, as well as snacks and the like. @thepuzzldpirate, what's the protocol in case we suddenly get like 120 people with us the day-of and they're all paying? Is there still any possibility of short-notice expansion?

!bcbronies @thunderdash ...It's on the same weekend as it? The finale's on the 21st, as is the first day of the convention. A lot of us are going to the convention and we're gonna walk from there to the meetup at the library. !bcbronies: PART 2: I hoping to play the video at 4 or 5 and hang out for a bit after that, get thing slowed down for the last hour and clean up. What we do after that is completely up to us. I don't think anyone will but I will say it anyway, no booze. i don't care if we drink but that is for after, not during the meetup. If anyone else is unclear about something, I will try to answer.

Your choice. @armadillo Not sure. Have you asked their group? They'd probably have a better idea what subgroups might exist. @thepuzzldpirate Indeed. The meetup's all ages, so make sure any refreshments are too. For our drinkers, I think someone's planning a drinking game meetup after the con's done for the day. So, this is somewhere at the big coliseum library, right? And you know exactly where the room is? !vancouverbronies Hey guys. I'm curious as to why we don't have a facebook group as well as a RDN group. I know Abbotsford has a FB group, and most other provinces do as well. Is there a reason for this? I would be pretty happy to see one pop up for event planning and networking reasons

@tjdetweiler !bcbronies Lots of people don't like Facebook. One reason I specifically don't like Facebook for planning this stuff is that there are a LOT of subtle/secret/private bronies, and when planning on FB, either everything's too public and we'll scare off the shy people or everything's too private and we won't be discovered by external newcomers. This is an internally-contained place where people can plan brony stuff. Feel free to make a group if you want and link it in here a few times, but I'd like this to remain the main source for meetups and planning, or at the very least I'd like all plans for such to be mentioned on here.

@bronymike I can understand that for sure. My main reasoning was that we could plan events outside of the saturday meetups easier, but I don't know how well it would work what with people trying to be private and whatnot.

@phunkymat !bcbronies Well, we've got a pretty big meetup happening during the con that looks like it'll take about 1-1.5 hours out of the actual con time, but I'm kinda hoping to get a posse together to hang out with. Nothing's specifically planned yet though, but I'm already showing someone around for their first ever con, I don't mind someone else.

@fisherpon !bcbronies When we have it all planned. The Fan Expo schedule just got released, and we're in talks with our potential guest about his best time. We know it's at a conference room at the library, though, and at this rate it looks like we'll be sticking with the max capacity of 60 people. @thepuzzldpirate It's lookin' like that's our safest bet. Most of us are probably not going to use the room for the whole time, but I guess the people who aren't going to the Expo might be able to hang out in it until the rental's done.

!bcbronies: the room is ours. We have everything covered if someone was bringing a projector, i can bring my surround sound system if need be but it is far from best. Anywhoo, we will need to get video downloads as internet costs extra, the wall can collapse to make it bigger up to a 120 for like 325 but we need to know if we need that space by sat or it will cost us an extra 50$. Right now it is coming up to $248. The xtra come from paying cleaning and music. The fee is just to cover the libarary bananas if the music is copyrighted so I'm leaving it there. And no the chairs are not solid. Anyway tell you freinds, the more people I know are coming, the cheaper i charge, I will try to keep the cost even for everyone and will give money back to people who have payed more. If we start hitting profits...i will figure somethin but I wont be keepin it. Either give some back or donate it.

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies I think you once mentioned the room having speakers. Do we know if this is the case? Thanks for setting up the room, by the way. So, chairs aren't provided? Are we going to somehow figure out our own seating arrangement, or is there a way to rent them, or would we just all sit on the floor or stand the whole time? Anyone who wants to add the episode to their computer on the Saturday and bring their laptop or extra cables can feel free to (just to be safe in case there are issues), but bear in mind any security or convenience issues that might be associated with bringing your own computer.

@echron1000 Cool. Bring it if you want, but I've got the 720s on my computer. We've got a guy bringing a projector though. Maybe bring an HDMI cable just to be safe, there's always a chance of something goin' wrong.
