-
@lunaisbestprincess Are you going on an adventure?
-
@lunaisbestprincess You're leaving the Shire?
-
@lunaisbestprincess Where are you going?
-
@lunaisbestprincess In which case, I was already aware of that, which is why I was asking why it was necessary to use the word "literally" when you more likely than not aren't figuratively crying.
-
@lunaisbestprincess You don't know what literal means or you're reiterating that you're literally crying?
-
@lunaisbestprincess Generally, when describing something, two major descriptors are "literal" and "figurative". When something is literal, it means it is genuinely happening, but when something is figurative it is generally metaphorical for something else. Literally crying makes perfect sense, but it's sort of unnecessary to distinguish it as literal since there's no reason someone would be crying figuratively (not without lots of proper context, that is).
-
@lunaisbestprincess What? Where? When?
-
@lunaisbestprincess Can you be figuratively crying?
-
@lunaisbestprincess Now you can sonic everything!
-
@lunaisbestprincess Whooo!
