@pony The trouble is that the most organic solution: starting a new completely independant canon and keeping the old one around as "RP classic" has the same consequences as splitting this site between multiple instances does: Either one or the other dies, or the split makes it so hard to find good conversation on either instance that they both die.

@pony I think there's currently a debate about whether or not they should nuke their current canon because it's becoming impenetrable to new users.

@nerthos Why would you need to? If you equip rad-resistant armor and hotkey rad-away and RadX you can happily stand in the most irradiated locations in the game. But there's nothing in those places anyway, so aside from taking a screencap of vault 87's closed door with the caption of "Told ya I could do it", there's no real point.

@woona I got a bunch of GCSE's (14 between A* and C grade), then I stayed on at the same school, and I got as far as A/S levels before dropping out. I don't consider going to college a mistake, but I should certainly have moved schools to do it. I one AS level in IT and one in Biology. My previous employer sent me to Northampton university where I did a 3 year HNC in Computer Science. The jobcenter paid for me to do the ECDL, on which I achieved the dubious honor of answering exam questions so fast I crashed the exam software. It's extremely basic IT, but it's also required that you have one if you wanna do government work, so having one already can give you an edge if you're applying to work for the NHS or a council. To be totally honest the most useful qualification I've gotten has actually been my drivers license, as it massively increased the radius I could look for jobs in.
