I have just a few more loose ends to tie up at work, then off to help with Anime Weekend Atlanta setup. Assuming there's anything left to do by the time I get to the site. The new setup routine is so damn smooth.

I finally feel as if I've recovered from DragonCon only to see AWA (the convention I also happen to staff for) far too close on the horizon. I should probably consider rethinking my late summer/early fall convention schedule.

@greydragon412 Massive sci-fi/fantasy/pop culture/basically-all-things-nerdy convention in Atlanta, GA. Happens every year over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

One good night of sleep wasn't near enough to recover from DragonCon (a sign of a successful con). Fortunately, I have a some comp time hours to play around with this week.

@mrdragon I recently took in my brother's cat, and he is about the same age as mine (both adults). They're both fairly set in their ways, basically. Things have actually gone more smoothly than I expected, all things considered.

Forget I have this thing sometimes. Update: I am busy getting my house in order for DragonCon. Harder than it normally is, since old cat and new cat are still adjusting to each other.

No way to do it by GenCon, but I am still contemplating a Vlad (of Hack/Slash fame) costume for DragonCon. I can 'make' it with mostly off-the-rack stuff, assuming I can find it all in my size.

As much as I look forward to DragonCon, I need to make it through GenCon first. Late summer/early fall has too many conventions too close together for my sanity.
