@doublerainbowdash We aren't an organized club, you know. Anyone in any part of Central Florida can put one of these together. There are not any rules stipulating that meetups must be in a location where everyone can drive to it. :/

@doublerainbowdash I.e. when y'all had your comic book store parties, none of us over hear with car issues could get to it. So you see my dilemma.

@doublerainbowdash And for the record, when @tenure and I were setting this picnic up, I had the floor open to suggestion as to where people should think it should be held. I even made it easy by suggesting two locations: one near Apopka and the one in Thonotosassa. NOBODY said ANYTHING. Not ONE peep. So we made the decision to have it closer so that we personally wouldn't have to leave so darn early to set the darn thing up. Plus, the pavilion rentals were cheaper at Hillsborough River. To avoid this issue in the future, if someone opens the floor to suggestion as to where something should be held, that does NOT mean to hold your tongue.

@doublerainbowdash Well there really is no middle ground in Central FL that would be convenient for everyone. You either have things close to Tampa or things close to Orlando.
