I want to believe that by censoring out all of my negative thoughts and not posting them, I could improve the mood of things in general. However, this tends to get solid constructive criticism swept under the rug to be kind. I suppose it's another situation requiring balance and case-by-case judgement.

@thelastgherkin That's dine I trust you, and I can understand that, Jack. You may disapproave, but I think it is fair of me to be concerned about dragging down the reputation of things I like. Though I guess it'd be worse if I didn't care. Anyway, I was basically trying to dance around the idea of using a different penname to draw Apple Bloom 34, wondering if it would be more detrimental than beneficial, and making no progress toward or away from that decision. (That said, my notion of what 34 is is skewed anyway. What I really mean is fetish softporn. Which is another thing getting me nowhere to be hush-hush about.) More reason why I care? First webcomic I read chased me off when I drew porn of that. The second webcomic I got into ENDED hardly a month after I even jokingly suggested doing so. (As in a sudden, but decided and conclusive one-month-long arc to end the entire comic which had previously been almost all gag-oriented.) I care. A lot.

@retl I could tell you what you want to hear - that undesirable materials are merely pinpricks in the side of a great marketing beast like Hasbro and that they aren't going to shut down and stop producing My Little Pony because of it, unlike a smaller and personally-produced thing like a webcomic; and that adult male fans of My Little Pony get a bad rap anyway so what's a little more for the pile? - but I seem to be having the "porn vs. no porn" debate quite a bit frequently and I think I've made it clear which side I stand on. It looks like you're going to have to go through this one on your own. I'm sorry I made you all grumpy. :(
