  1. I can't believe Steve Jobs is actually dead. Say whatever unpleasant things you like about Apple, that man was a visionary.

    1. @ceruleanspark He and Bill Gates were good competitors. I think they were good friends too. I feel sorry for him. :(

      1. @pinhooves Hmm. I wonder what Linus Torvalds has to say on the topic...

        1. @scribusvoorhees Sorry for asking, but who is Linus Torvalds?

          1. @pinhooves Short version, the creator of Linux. Long version, way more than 1,000 characters.

            1. @scribusvoorhees Ah, I've never seen a Linux Computer before, so I didn't know who that was.

              1. @pinhooves Yeah, it's gaining popularity but it's way not widespread.

    2. @ceruleanspark There's a good reason he'd become one of The Names in modern computing.

      1. @scribusvoorhees @pinhooves Don't forget that without him, there'd be no Pixar.

        1. @ceruleanspark Very true. I'm a follower of Pixar, and I'm glad he was there for it.

    3. @ceruleanspark His death so soon was quite a shock to most people, including to me despite that i'm not much of an Apple fan. There's do denying he had a huge influence on modern technology and even changed our day-to-day lives. Steve, RIP

      1. @ladestitute Sorta feels like he was waiting for that Apple keynote earlier this week. Once he knew everything was OK, he just went.

        1. @ceruleanspark You know, now that Steve has passed; I wonder how much time Bill has as well. Probably a bit, but not alot.

          1. @ladestitute Steve Jobs was 56, and he already had pancreatic cancer, which, due to the pancreas location in several body systems, is one that not many people recover from.

            1. @ceruleanspark Yeah, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst of them. Among some forms of skin/brain cancer, anyway.
