Not feeling okay. I had one of the worst nightmares I've had in a long time. I just want somepony to talk too me

@madflavors RANDOM STORY SEMI-RELATED TO YOUR AVATAR! Me and my friends were messing around on Omegle video, and I was shirtless, and I was holding a pillow in front of my shorts, so it looked kinda like I was naked. Then I'd remove the pillow, yell PANTS! and we'd disconnect.

@pinhooves I actually sort of enjoy nightmares, in a way. Obviously, not at the moment where I'm scared awake, but after I've been able to logically dismiss it, it's something to talk about.

@pinhooves For somewhere around a year back when I was . . . must have been < 7 given the house... I had a regularly recurring nightmare about an alien invasion that replayed exactly the same every single time.

@scribusvoorhees I can't really remember any dreams/nightmares. It would be nice to, and possibly have them again.

@pinhooves I can't help with making them happen again, but writing them down as soon as you wake up helps a lot. I actually use a voice recorder, but it seems to have the same effect.

@tenmihara That reminds me. The first time I played Blue, I think I beat Fuchsia City before Celadon City. I can't remember how it turned out, but I think I had a harder time against Erika mostly because Squirtle was my starter.

@pinhooves makes sense. Fuchsia City is a slightly higher level than Saffron, but the type (especially back in G1 when Psychic was GOD) makes quite a bit of difference

@tenmihara I remember that in G1, moves with high critical rate would almost always be a critical hit. I would always use Blastoise and Sandslash (And maybe a bit of Pigeot).

@pinhooves hehe, fun stuff. Back in G1 if you had a fully trained Alakazam, nothing could hurt you. Especially since a coding error made Psychic types immune to Ghost attacks @_@

@tenmihara Bug type moves are still effective, but they were somewhat useless back then. G5 has really good Bug Pokemon, not to mention one of them being the first used in any Pokemon Game. Dentula is amazing. (Can't remember the English name)

@tenmihara Not to mention G5 has the most Bug types, and strangest type combinations. Bug/Electric is pretty good to be honest.

@pinhooves Compound Eyes Galvantula can throw a STAB Thunder around with 84 accuracy, use Bug Buzz effectively, and even has Volt Switch to bail out of unfavorable situations

@tenmihara Definitely. It may have low stats, but it's ability can be a godsend. Special Attack and Speed make it pretty good though.

@pinhooves Low Stat average, but it has what it needs in the right place. Choice Specs and a Speed Boosting Nature (Timid, Naive or Hasty) will have it plowing through plenty of opposition

@pinhooves Happy to help; I always offer in depth tutelage on Competitive training and battling to those who wish to learn it. Once you get started it's a lot easier than it might seem

@tenmihara I always recommend learning the basics of EV Training, even if you don't end up using it in depth

@tenmihara I know how EV training works. It's not easy to work on if you're Pokemon are at a high level. You can't really do it properly in G5 because there are no berries that can lower your EVs.

@pinhooves I could be wrong though. Those berries may be possible to get.

@pinhooves First thing I teach is that you always start with a fresh specimen, either caught or bred (some ones breeding works better because you can get specific moves that way) EVs are a hidden stat, so even with the berries it's hard to know if you've removed them all or not

@tenmihara G5 was also easy with EV training because you don't need to level up. When you do enough training, you can check to see if the stat needed has gone up. HP is most noticeable because you can see the difference when you start a battle.

@pinhooves The reason for that is that EVs are tabulated at the end of each battle as opposed to only at level ups

@tenmihara I've been doing a lot in the Japanese Dream World. I'm a bit lost though because I don't know when I'll be able to go to different areas.
