@thelastgherkin Aside from the people in my regular social circle, I'm feeling a below average quantity of love and tolerance at the moment. I'm keeping it in reserve for my friends, such as you.

@thelastgherkin Not particularly, but I'm not comfortable discussing it in public. As for the fandom, I think that was, depressingly inevitable. It's a hawks and doves problem, and game theory states that in a populace compased primarily of doves, the hawks will feast until only hawks remain. It's the hare-lynx predator prey sine-wave dynamic with people. The only thing you can do is hold to the ideals for yourself, and try to spread it to those you know.

@thelastgherkin That would be kind of you. You're not obligated to though. The other thing is basically that statistically, in a populace of nice people, asshats will always show up to be asshats, until such time they have driven away all the nice people and only asshats remain. The asshats will then die off whilst the nice people repopulate, until they reach the critical nice person-dole threshold to restart the cycle. Its how predators and prey remain in balance in nature.

@ceruleanspark You're most welcome ^^ I don't like to meddle, but I do like to offer what aid I can. If there's one thing I believe in, it's hope. Also I have a little story for you, regarding this community. A short while ago I came on here and announced that my mother had been diagnosed with a cancer that had metastasized from the breast cancer she fought off last year. I was looking for support because I was pretty ragged at the time. No less than a dozen people who had never met me, let alone my mother, were willing to wish me well and hope for the best for her. The power of hope backed by positive support is powerful, and I feel it's one of the reasons my mother is still with me today =D
