Everything is OK now. I'm here.
Thursday, 13-Oct-11 06:12:51 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark Then thousands of tiny hooves raised up to the Cerulean sky in praise.
-
@ceruleanspark Hay there! How's it going? :3
-
@pinhooves The usual. I'm tired. It's dark and cold. How're you?
-
@fallinwinter Hello there. How're you?
-
@ceruleanspark Good. Playing Dead Island currently.
-
@ceruleanspark Pretty happy (And a little nervous) that I have the house all to myself for 3 weeks.
-
@pinhooves It'll be fun! You will also learn some things about yourself. :3 It'll make you more confident.
-
@fallinwinter Is that game as awful as I persistently hear it described?
-
@ceruleanspark Dunno. It's basically Borderlands with Zombies almost to a T. If you're playing with friends it becomes more fun, but it's practically a pushover if one of you is high leveled and you join the low level person's game. They can one hit kill their way through your game without problems.
-
@fallinwinter I wish they'd had the foresight to include local co-op. My local multiplayer experiences MADE Borderlands for me.
-
@ceruleanspark Also, I won't have any interruptions when playing Terraria, and other things. :3
-
@ceruleanspark I can't see why they couldn't have put it into this game. Personally, I had played Borderlands endlessly online with my friends, but that was some of the most fun I had in a co-op game.
-
@ceruleanspark Oh, thank Luna!
-
@fallinwinter My first play through of Borderlands was all online with a friend, but my second and third playthroughs were done in person. We had a great time.
-
@scribusthehomicidalmaniac Hey Scribby. What's up?
-
@pinhooves Now if I can just avoid interruptions, we'll be set.
-
@ceruleanspark Oh, I managed to find some useful things on floating islands. I can give extras to you and the others. :3
-
@ceruleanspark I was playing with my friends with all of us as the different characters. It's a lot of fun when you can use the classes strategically.
-
@fallinwinter Yeah...strategy. (RUN THE CAR INTO ALL THE THINGS)
-
@pinhooves What did you find?
-
@ceruleanspark Can't always use that car. ^.^
-
@ceruleanspark A few Starfuries and Lucky Horshoes. There may be a bit more, but I can't remember.
-
@fallinwinter Sounds like a challenge to me.
-
@pinhooves "A few" Starfuries? that's ridiculous. Admittedly I've found one in every world, I've played on, but never more than one in the same world. Did you manage to get into MrDragon's server in the end?
-
@ceruleanspark Eeyup! Also, I made a few small worlds, so I could search for floating islands. That's why I got a few Starfuries.
-
@pinhooves Ah. I remember having to do that to get silver armour before.
-
@ceruleanspark No challenge. Unless you'd like to. I was the siren which made solo runs easy. I didn't need cars.
-
@fallinwinter It's like my friend trying to tell me that you can't take the vehicles in Halo certain places. I sure showed HIM. I played as the siren (Colored blue, named Trixie) too. He played Brick. Did you play any of the DLC?
-
@ceruleanspark All of them except the claptrap revolution and anything after that. I got all the acheivements except for the second round in mad moxxie's arena. Sitting there for that long to beat them all seemed taxing.
-
@ceruleanspark Also yeah, sirens were easy to manage. Run in, get kills, special at low health, hide behind cover, regain health, repeat.
-
@fallinwinter We finished all of them except Moxxies arena, because it's so goddamn repetitive and not very fun. The general Knoxx DLC is probably my favourite part of the game now, actually. We 99%'d the game in the end.
-
@ceruleanspark Same here (except that one dlc) Crawmerax was fun though.
-
@fallinwinter Crawmerax is our missing 1% We just could not execute on a decent strategy to kill him.
-
@ceruleanspark Soon, we shall defeat the final boss of the game. >:3
-
@ceruleanspark If you wanted a "cheap" way, there's a tiny spot near the wall edge where he never attacks you. You can shoot off his limb/eye things and then all you have to do as siren is special, run out, and crit his back. Goes down without resistance.

The most analogous fandom to MLP that I can see is the Touhou fandom. The Touhou fandom is essentially divided into two parts: People who actually enjoy playing Touhou games, the cannon stories, settings and characters, and People who're just there for art, fan fiction, and to make money/e-fame selling stuff. MLP seems the same. People who like the show and the canon characters and its message, and people who're just here to ship pastel colored equines together and treat fan fiction as gospel.
-
@ceruleanspark heh Not much. Just at my bud's, he's playing Mega Man III. I'm arguing with my nose about the cats. =/ flippin' allergies.
-
@ceruleanspark And those who are both categories, of course.
-
@ceruleanspark I resent that! I like to think I'm here for both. I enjoy the show an awful lot, but that doesn't mean I don't like the fan extended universe. Obviously the show trumps all fanon, but with background characters, I think it's perfectly reasonable to have some extra stuff.
-
@seanthesheep It's not about what you like, it's about why you're here. Are you here because you like ponies, or are you hear to read kissy stories about Rainbow Dash cherriesing AJ behind the barn?
